I'm still a standard member, here's what that means: 1. I can see messages you send to me on IM but cannot respond without points [usually don't have any points] 2. I can only see the first few words of any mail you send to me on here and I cannot respond to them anyway. The exception is if you paid extra for the 'standard users can contact' feature. If this is the case, you should lead with that detail. 3. I cannot see your profile or pictures, except for the summary it shows me when I mouseover you in a list of users. It will tell you someone has viewed your profile even if someone only accidentally mouses over you in the search list for example. How to contact me: 1. If I'm on live broadcast, I can chat with you there but my cam doesn't seem to work with this website anymore. So no video. Just chat. 2. You can try to send me a way to contact you outside of this website on IM or live broadcast, and possibly through the mail here if your message is very brief. Keep in mind if you do this that aff tries to filter out this kind of stuff so you have to 'disguise' any outside IM names or email addresses. If you don't, I will never receive your message and you will never know it did not send. 3. Refer to the first sentence of my introduction. Aff has only taken away features from standard members over the years, so I'm sorry to have to spell all that out and I understand if it seems like too much of a hassle to contact me now, and I'd agree with you. I'm putting it out there because people get mad at me when they feel ignored, not understanding that a standard member could not respond to them even if they wanted to. Why don't I just get a gold membership then? I'm a former member of the site and it's definitely not worth giving them any more money, at least what I use it for 99% of the time.
