My weight loss goals

I thought it was time to bring you up to speed with my weight loss goals. I am targeting a weight loss of 10 lbs/mo or 2.5 lbs/wk. So far we have been able to stay on point with that. I need to be more consistent with my gym visits. I started out with a weak 3 visits per week. We need to stabilize that and begin uping it to 4 times per week. Weight continues to drop on a somewhat irregular basis. I get weighed in the morning sans clothing on a new digital scale and note it on my monthly calendar.

Ultimate goal is 225-235 which would still be heavy for a normal guy but I am 6 ft and have a huge, heavy frame. I once got down to 187 and I looked like a skeleton.

Current weight 362.
Highest weight 418.
Goal in 340 by end of year.
Goal is 310 by end of 1st quarter 2022.
Goal is 280 by end of 2nd quarter 2022.

This is important as my 50th class reunion is next summer.
All the while I am building muscle, stamina and flexibility.

Do I want a daddy 6 pack in the future? Please comment below for me on if you think I should strive for that or not. I will listen to your opinions. For a current pic of what I look like from the front look at my pics (don't worry, I do not do dick pics).

I recently posted in a thread in the group Younger Women for Older Men titled: "Things men say and do to guarantee themselves failure...". I thought it was worthy to repost it here. You are going to get an insight into my style, thinking and way of approaching women. I am sharing one of my "secrets" with you.

To tell the truth most men are shy about talking to women. Some of the ones who do talk to women are jerks. I think you need to practice speaking to women nicely and flirtingly whether in person or by text. I practice on the girls at the fast food drive through windows.
For instance:
1) I was moving up the line in my car and I noticed a cute girl busting a few dance moves while she was standing just inside the window. When I got up to the window and she handed me the sack, I smiled and said "Those are some great dance steps you have there!" She was surprised, stunned and embarrassed all at the same time. Then she gave me the biggest smile you ever saw and said Thank You!
Lesson: Pay Attention and think ahead.
2) ANYTIME I have the chance to say a little something to a girl, I quickly observe and give her a compliment on anything I notice about them. "That is a beautiful necklace you have on." "I love the way you braided your hair." "You have amazing eyes." " Your nails look great! I bet it took a long time to get them done." I get tons of smiles and they often thank me and say things like: "You are so nice!"
Do the same here. Study the pictures the women post. Notice details, little things usually men do not pay attention to. And compliment them NICELY and POLITELY. Maybe with a little flirty twist at the end.
Lesson: Observe and compliment.

If anything, you have just made their day. The pickup window girls have to put up with crap and complaints all day long. Be that ray of sunshine for them. And in the process you will sharpen your skills at communicating with women. And who knows what else may happen if you see them again or text a girl here on the site...

As anyone who has had to loose weight can tell you, your body has certain "weight set points". These are weights or a small range of weight where, no matter what you do, your body refuses to loose weight to a lower weight or range of weights. They are like road blocks to someone trying to loose weight. I have been stuck in the 368 to 376 range for awhile now despite working out at the gym, using my Cubii and watching my diet. I broke thru today. 366. The weight will now drop steadily till I hit the new set point around 345-350. Can you tell I have been thru this before? Onward and Downward!!

p.s. Hey, I am getting muscles !!! And they are starting to show even at this weight !!!
Working out hurts

So I am going to the gym every other day now. Us older bodies need the time to rebuild between visits at first. Did double sets of reps on each of the machines at Planet Fitness Canal Winchester. That was after a HIT session for cardio on the rower. Took my time so I was there about 90 minutes. I was exhausted by the end, but I am glad I did it. Now I am paying for it all. Everything is sore. I even have a few bruises. I am determined to push through. In a couple weeks I will increase the gym frequency to 4 times a wee M,T...Th,F. I am drawing on my training. More later.
